Connie Toshiko Dodd, 95 years young, passed away on August 30, 2021, after a long illness. She was in the loving hands of Community Hospice and surrounded by loving caregivers in her home at Windsor at Ortega in Jacksonville, Florida.
Connie was born in Osaka, Japan. She and her husband spent many years in many states and countries. However, she and her family moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1974 and considered this her home. She was a great bowler and played on numerous charity leagues throughout the years. She was an active member of Arlington Congregational Church and loved playing Bridge. Which she did up until the time of her illness. Connie enjoyed watching the Jaguars play and would get so excited every time the team made a touchdown! She will be missed. But, forever in our hearts.
Connie was preceded by her beloved husband William Dodd and her Mother Kazu Hirose. She is survived by her daughter, Toni Dodd and Granddaughter, Mazie Haines as well as numerous nieces and nephews from Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Visitation to be held Saturday, September 11th, at 10:00 AM at Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd. North, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Funeral services will be at 11 AM with Rev.
