Christa Marie Johnson

Christa Marie Johnson, 26, was called home to her Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 11, 2014. She was born in Jacksonville and attended Paxon High School and Florida State College at Jacksonville. She was a devoted mother who brought a lot of love and happiness to those around her. She touched the lives of many friends and people in need.

Christa is survived by her large family; her son, Jeremie; parents, Sue Anne and Mark Johnson; sisters, Nicole Johnson and Courtney Perry; brother, Rob Johnson; boyfriend, La’voris Mobley; grandparents, Harold and Sue Johnson, and Anne Powell; 12 aunts and uncles; and 18 cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Papa Cecil, who welcomed her at the gates of Heaven.

A celebration of her life will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at The Oaklawn Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
