Papa Charlie, Nana and I on my 16th Birthday! Papa Charlie didn’t feel well but felt it was important to be there for my 16th. He even ate tacos. Thank you Papa Charlie for being there and for our Cracker Barrel trips and car rides. You will be missed.

Charlie, Thank you for always believing in me (even when I didn’t sometimes) and encouraging me. Also, thank you for making sure I had flowers on Valentine’s Day  when I didn’t have any. Grandpa,
May you rest peaceably in the Lord. I wish you had met my husband and your great grandchildren. Hopefully one day in Heaven you’ll get to meet everyone. In the meantime, the rest of the family is in our prayers for peace and comfort.

Uncle Charles... You shared a love for the dairy with my Mom. As the youngest of the four ya'll took care of one another. My mom had great stories to tell about you, her little brother. 
Thank you Uncle Charles for the  laughter and the good memories. For teaching us all how to have a hobby or two and enjoy what you have. Thank you for giving me my cousin Linda Lue... I am Linda Sue... Of course you and Mom had a competition to see who could have the first daughter and name her Linda. You both won and just changed our middle names... lol. 
Always happy and fun to be with. Always a story to tell. 
I can't believe you are gone.

Many, many years ago Charlie was part of my family and he lived in South Daytona next door to my parents, Emmet and Gretel Simmons. My husband and I shared some fun times together with Charlie. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I send condolence and prayers to his family and relatives.

I’ve known Charles since the early 90s through a mutual friend Mr George Pollard of Sheffield, England. Our joint interest was understandably Motorcycles. My wife and I visited Daytona on several occasions, often spending a few days with Charles and Marilou at his home. We were invited to attend his Wedding service to Joanne. That was a memorable occasion, always renewing memories whenever “Al Capone” is mentioned in conversation. A true friend, who only contacted me by phone a few weeks ago requesting hard to find parts for his current Norton project. I will miss his enthusiasm to get the job done.
