Catherine retired from First Citizens Bank as a supervisor of the Data Entry department. She was an Eastern Star.
She is survived by four children, Sandra Young Ingram (Dennis) of Fl, Samuel Young Jr. (Jane) of NC, Vance Watkins Jr. of NC, David Michael Watkins (Kimberly) of NC. She is also survived by grandchildren Shannon Young of NC, Matthew Ingram(Kaprina) of FL, Maggie Watkins of NC, Charlie Watkins of NC, and three great-grandchildren Noelle, Gabby, and Ronnie Hurt of NC. She is also survived by two siblings, Peggy Robinson of NC, and Jimmy Hicks of NC. Several great nieces and great nephews.
She was proceeded in death by Samuel Young Sr, he passed after only 3 years of marriage. She later married Vance Watkins Sr and they had a marriage of 62 years, and he passed away in 2020. Also proceeded by a grandson Samuel Young III of NC.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Starling Memory Unit in Jacksonville, for the loving care they provided.
