Joan Rusnak died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on May 21st, 2022. Joan was born on July 18, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL. She attended Paxon High School and graduated in 1961. Not very long after, she married the love her life on October 6, 1961.
Joan leaves behind their two children David (Jennifer) Rusnak and Steven Rusnak along with 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sisters: Joyce Smith, Gail (Larry) Gonzales, Nancy (Robert) McKimson; Lynn Steele and Brothers: Ralph (Len) Potter, Gary (Regina) Potter, Bobby (Kathy) Rusnak, Steven (Terri) Rusnak, along with boundless additional friends and family.
Joan was very passionate about her gatherings with her family and traveling with her sisters. She loved everyone she came in contact with unconditionally and embracing them with compassion, respect and the need to feed. Joan always made you feel at home in her presence!
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James David Rusnak Sr, Parents; Ralph and Pauline Potter, Siblings; Betty Svenson, Jean Neilson, Janet Trembley and David Smith.
