Bettie Sue Boyette (Sue), 80, formerly of Jacksonville Florida passed on April 18th. 2012 at her daughters home in Brunswick Georgia after an extended battle of Alzheimers Disease. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Lillian Taylor, her oldest son Kenneth Morris Cooke Jr. of Lodi New Jersey and her late husband Robert Boyette of Jacksonville Florida. She is survived by her children; Kathryn Anne Cooke Nail of Brunswick Georgia, Cindy Lee Cooke-Dew of Brunswick Georgia and son David Frank Cooke of Knoxville Tennessee. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Sue was born in North Carolina and grew up in Miami Florida, she relocated to Jacksonville Florida in 1975 where she was married to Robert Boyette for 34 years before his passing in 2009. Sue was a member of United Methodist Church of Jacksonville Beach and was a volunteer for the TPC Golf Tournament at Sawgrass.
Mrs. Boyette's family would prefer donations to the Hospice of the Golden Isles in lieu of flowers. There will be a memorial service at Beach United Methodist Church located at 325 7th. Avenue North Jacksonville Beach Florida phone (904) 249-2343 at 11:00 am on Monday April 23rd.
