Bertha Lee Russell, age 70, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 in Orange Park, Florida. She was born November 30, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Ollie (Morgan) Mason. Bertha enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hours of bird watching, gardening, cooking, baking, dancing, and many hours at the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son William “Billy” Schmucker, and two sisters Doris Mason and Lucille Walker. She was a member and adult Sunday School Treasurer at First Baptist Church of Orange Park. Bertha will be missed dearly by her three sons Bruce Schmucker, Brian Schmucker (Sylvia) and Richard Triolo; one sister Robbie Jinks (Jim); five grandchildren Kyle, Mason, Ericka, Katelyn, and William; and four nieces. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com, with Pastor David Tarkington officiating.
