Barbara White Pearce, age 85, passed away on November 12, 2023 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Enid Fox White and Arthur White. Barbara was married to Donnie Pearce for 64 years. Barbara loved cooking, baking, dancing, volunteering to serve others and her family. She always had a jar of cookies and a special meal for everyone who dropped by.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie. Barbara is survived by her daughter Pam Sullivan (Greg); son, Steve Pearce; and daughter, Janet Pearce (Chris); five grandchildren William Burch, Taylor Burch, Amanda Adams, Madison Pearce and Sydney Pearce; three great-grandchildren Brantley, Trafton and Maylie Adams; and her cousins Robert Fox (Linda) and Bud Rutland.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Reverend Brent Owens will serve as officiant of services.
