He was born September 18, 1936 to Tillman and Vera Davis in Dothan, AL.
Arthur was an Aviation mechanic at NAS for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Steven Wesley Davis, one brother Billy Davis and one granddaughter.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 58 ½ years Minnie, two sons Gary Allen Davis, Michael G. Davis (Bonnie),
one sister Sandra Leverock, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
