Adelle "Delle" Bagnal Howard

She lived in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She married Thomas Gordon Howard in 1949 and they had three children; John, Anne and Debbie. Delle worked as a Payroll Supervisor for 32 years until her retirement from Southern Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Willie Mae Bagnal; her husband, Gordon Howard; and her brother, William Ernest Bagnal. She is survived by her brother, Joel B. Bagnal (Hookey); one son, John R. Howard (Saundra); two daughters, Anne H. Miller (Gary) and Debra H. Carter(Duane); four grandchildren: Joel Miller (Julie), Sarah Cotchaleovitch (Thomas), Matthew Carter (Julie) and Lauren Carter; six great-grandsons: Peter, Ian, Evan, Liam, William, and Nathan.

Delle was a devoted Christ follower and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long time member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. One of her greatest joys was teaching 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School for more than 61 years. Delle will be greatly missed but remembered for her devotion to and love for her Lord and family.

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11 o’clock at Murray Hill Baptist Church, 4300 Post St., Jacksonville, FL 32205. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to the Project 2020 Fund at Murray Hill Baptist Church.
