William L. Winfree, 75, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on 12/20/2023. He was born in Tampa, FL on 09/23/1948. William (Billy) graduated from Paxon High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University.
He married Joan C. Winfree on 11/29/1980. Billy had a passion for football especially Florida State. He was survived by his wife and three daughters; Ashley Markham, Alex Herritt (Sean), Adrienne Thompson (Corey), his grandchildren; Carlie, Caylin, Lilly, Landon, Nathan. And his brother, Vaughn Winfree; and two nephews; Dale, Ryan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am February 3, 2024, at
Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd; Jacksonville Beach FL, 32250.
