Raymond Walter Williams

Raymond Walter Williams passed away on July 20, 2023. He was a lifetime Jacksonville resident with a few detours - Klamath Falls OR, Philadelphia PA and Gainesville FL. He retired as Practice Manager for Aegis Pension Services in Ponte Vedra Beach after an earlier career as a practicing attorney. He served in the US Navy from 1966-1969.

He was a rabid Florida Gator fan, avid golfer, wine snob, ballroom dancer and world traveler; especially enjoying cruises.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Lorraine Dorsa, daughter Meredith Eng (Michael), mother Jeanne Marie Williams, aunts Shirley Franchi & Marilynn Blair, brother Glenn Williams (Doris), sister Vivian McDonald (Jonathan) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father William Liles Williams Sr., brothers William Liles Williams Jr. (Polly) and Michael Jerome Williams (Barbara).

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at St Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, followed by a reception at the St Paul's Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The ARC Jacksonville Village. Donations can be made online, in memory of Raymond Williams, at arcjacksonville.org/donate or by check to 1050 North Davis Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
