Margaret Teresa Desmond, 71, passed away on January 31, 2015 peacefully at her home in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Washington, DC, on April 21, 1943, to Edmund Lawrence Dulin and Irene Cecilia Dulin. For most of her life she lived in Maryland and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. She moved to Jacksonville after 28 years of service with Montgomery County Public Schools. She enjoyed travelling, baking, slot machines and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Lawrence Clifford Desmond. She is survived by her children, Margaret “Peggy” Martin (Allen) and Christopher Desmond (Lisa); sisters, Patricia Dulin and Kathleen Ching; and grandchildren, Kathleen and James Sengstack, Andrew, Zachary and Jesse Thompson, Trystan and Hunter Martin.
Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Beaches Chapel (904)249-2374 located 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6-8pm and a Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 06 at 11am in the funeral home.
