Mass of Christian Burial for Jacqueline Marie Ballinger, 83 of Jacksonville Beach who passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 12 noon at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Beaches Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 at Hardage – Giddens Beaches Chapel.
Born in Ansonia, Connecticut Jacqueline was a daughter of the late William H. and Althea M. Baillargeon Chattaway. Jacqueline spent her life caring for her children and creating a warm and welcoming home for them. She loved to read and travel, but most of all she loved her family.
Jacqueline is survived by her children, Deborah Ballinger Garnett (Jack), Glen Ballinger (Karen), Pamela Ballinger Copenhaver (Rickey), Laurie Ballinger Thurman (Tim); grandchildren, Michelle Kauffman, Matthew Garnett, Clay Ballinger, Caitlyn Garnett, Joshua Copenhaver; great-grandchild, Caydence McCroy; siblings, Betty Chattaway Hendrickson (Rich), Shirley Chattaway Elliott, Marjorie Chattaway Ballentine (Mike), Wayne Chattaway, Sr. (Debbie) Richard Chattaway (Linda) and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William H. Chattaway, Jr. and her sister, Dorothea Chattaway LeBlanc.
