He loved hunting, fishing, Nascar races, the St. Louis Cardinals, and watching Gunsmoke! He attended Beech Bluff school.
William was preceded in death by his father, William C. Byrum; mother Elizabeth A. Byrum; his wife, Betty L. Byrum; sisters, Barbara Ann Byrum, and LouElla Cupples; brother William Curtis Byrum Jr.; grandson Christopher B. Anderson; and granddaughter, Betty A. Ingram.
William is survived by two daughters, Patricia C. Anderson (Joe) and Margaret Ingram; four grandchildren, Hailey Anderson, Justin Jay, Alex Ingram, and Johnathon Byrum; three great grandchildren, Elijah Jay, Nevaeh Ingram, Tracee Ingram; and his best buddy Brutus (furbaby).
He is also survived by one sister Linda Alexander (Gary); and one brother Jerry Byrum; a niece, Pickle; and several nephews and great nephews.
There will be a private graveside service for immediate family only.
