Teddy Kay Davis

Teddy was a woman of many passions and an enduring faith. She loved to sing and found joy in listening to music that stirred her soul. A dedicated volunteer at the Faith Health Center, Teddy spent countless hours helping others with compassion and care. She treasured her family, adored her pets, and cherished her Sunday school class at Northside Church, where her faith blossomed and her friendships thrived.

Teddy was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Margaret Sharp Henderson; her husband, John Davis; her sisters, Pat Wynne and Mabel Saenz; and her son, Rob Jones.

She is survived by her children, Paul Jones (Kathy) and Melissa McLaughlin (Ed); her grandchildren, Phil Jones (Brandi), Chris Jones (Heather), Kyle Jones, Jake McLaughlin (Zaylee), and Sarah McLaughlin; and her great-grandchildren, Emilee Jones, Levi Jones, Lillie Gowan, Joshua Gowan, Abel Jones, Marlee Jones, Porter McLaughlin, and her future great grandson and namesake, Reid Henderson McLaughlin. Teddy also leaves behind her stepchildren, Chris and Tricia Davis, and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A service to celebrate Teddy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 1:00 PM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
