Raymond Edward Muse

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1 p.m., in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral home with Bro. John Gator officiating. Interment will follow in Henderson City Cemetery in Henderson, TN.

Active Pallbearers to serve will be Marion Spencer, Jim Bob Outland, Jon Paul Shemwell, Adam Walker, Chris Faircloth, and Coty Trimmer.

Mr. Muse was born on July 22, 1928 in McNairy County, TN to the late Noel Fisher and Lessie Plunk Muse. Raymond has been a member of Pinson Baptist Church since he was fourteen years old. He was a Mason and retired in 1991 as Vice President of Asplundh Tree Company with 42 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by a grandson, Stevie Henson.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Muse of Pinson; children, Linda Moore (Donald) of Hopkinsville, KY, Sandra Yates (Ricky) of Pinson, TN, Donnia Wheatley (Don) of Eads, TN, and James Muse (Shyne) of Pinson; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation with the family of Mr. Muse will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 11-1 p.m., two hours prior to the funeral service at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to Pinson Baptist Church, 111 Church St., Pinson, TN 38366; or the American Cancer Society, 2935 U.S. 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
