Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow at 4 p.m. at Hare Cemetery in Henderson County, TN.
Ray was born on August 29, 1955 in Lexington, TN to Marine Brittan Moody. He married Joyce Grissom on October 5, 1974. He worked for Volvo Penta for 24 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce E. Moody; children, Chuck Moody (Niki), Genny Moody (Lance), and Jackie Moody (Ricky); seven grandchildren, Dade, Ethan, Jayden, Kayla, Justin, Linell, and Caidence; and his faithful and loving dog, Honey.
