Phyllis was born April 30, 1950 in Henderson, TN to Maxine Hinkle Robbins and the late A.E. "Gene" Robbins. She married Cecil Robertson on November 24, 1970. She retired from the Jackson Clinic after 39 years and was a faithful member of Pinson United Methodist Church.
Phyllis was known for her caring nature, generous spirit, love of family, cooking and her favorite Sonic Diet Coke. She was always available for talks, advice or bragging about her children and grandchildren. More than anything, Phyllis will be remembered as a devoted Christian, a good person, and the world is a little less bright without her.
She leaves behind to cherish their memories together her husband of 54 years, Cecil Robertson; her son, Jason Robertson (Melissa); her grandchildren, Garrett, Brady, and Reese Robertson and Nolan, Caden, and Bella Russell; her mother, Maxine Robbins; her sisters, Connie Stockton and Kim England; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers in law and sisters in law.
A service to celebrate the life of Phyllis Robertson will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pinson United Methodist Church, 2 Old Henderson Rd., Pinson. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon, two hours prior to the service at the church.
The family requests memorials in Phyllis' memory be directed to Bear Creek Cemetery in Pinson.
