She was born on February 25, 1958 in Knoxville, TN to Martha Ely Stockard and the late John Gentry Stockard. Laura was an Office Administrator in the Jackson area.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Pierce.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Wooten of Jackson; her mother, Martha Ely Stockard of Jackson; sister, Lark Taylor (Mike) of Jackson; nieces, Polly Robison (Phillip) and their children Reese and Garrett; Paige Jordan (Mark) and their children, Pierce, Cole, Rex, and Jovie; and Ana Taylor and her son, Jack.
A memorial service for Mrs. Wooten is to be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The family will receive friends and loved ones following the service.
