Joseph Eugene Anglin, Jr.

Eugene was born on December 2, 1956 in Jackson, TN to the late Joseph Eugene Anglin, Sr. and Raymel Volner Anglin. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. His hobbies were drag racing and working on race cars. He was a true outdoorsman and cherished time with close friends. He enjoyed spending time tinkering around his farm, driving his tractor, or fishing with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Anglin; his two children, Julie Flynn (Ryan) and Joey Anglin (Kelli); five grandchildren, Lainie Darnall, Collins and Cecilia Flynn, Easton and Everett Anglin. He is also survived by siblings, JoAnn Brown (David), Pam Neal (Tom), Lynn Harvey (Garry), Beth Haltom (David), Pat Bratcher (Randy), Brian Anglin (Renee), and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial following in Ararat Cemetery.

Pallbearers to serve will be Garry Harvey, Jr., Joel Harvey, David Haltom, Steve Haynes, Steven Haynes, John Bond, Mel Morris, Jeremy Pearce.
