Jo Ann Daniel

Jo Ann Daniel was born in Chester County, TN on July 15, 1939, the daughter of the late C. W. and Alice Frost Ramer. Mrs. Daniel was a 1956 graduate of Ramer High School and was retired from the business office of Lambuth University with 34 years of service. Upon retirement, she enjoyed her time as a customer services representative with the Old Hickory Mall. Mrs. Daniel was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and was in faithful attendance at Wards Grove Baptist Church. She passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness at the age of 70 years.

Mrs. Daniel is survived by her husband of 51 years, Johnnie Daniel; two daughters, Vickie Dennison Whittington (David) and Kimberly VanWinkle of Jackson, TN; her special granddaughters, Gracyn and Leven VanWinkle; two sisters, Ruthie Butler of Lincoln, NE and Gladys Skinner of Corinth, MS; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Linda Daniel of Jackson, TN; her mother and father in-law, Luther and Pearl Daniel of Jackson, TN; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Wilma Trolinger, Mary Phillips, Kathy Hopper and Ann Smith.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Hurley, Dorothy Butler, Edna Jernigan and her son-in-law, Michael VanWinkle.
