Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Pine Jennings, age 85, are at noon on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Tyson officiating. Mrs. Jennings will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jimmie Lee Jennings, in the Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service. Her children invite all friends and family to be with them in fellowship from 10am until noon in the sanctuary of the church. As a life-long Baptist, Mrs. Jennings’ spiritual influence was prominent in her family and friends.
Mrs. Jennings is survived by one sister, Adah Tyson, two sons, Terry Lee Jennings and wife Wanda, and Lance Norman Jennings and wife Theresa, two daughters, Janet Lynn Barnhardt, and Linda Gayle Avent and husband Gene, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials to celebrate her life be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church.
