Glen Miller

Glen was born on June 25, 1944 in Lexington, TN to the late Clovis Miller and Ruth Cannon Miller Moody. He was retired from Acety Arc Welding Supplies and had previously worked for Watlington Brothers Construction Company, Pepsi, and a toy factory. He enjoyed fishing hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Jane Young Miller; his children, Travis Miller (Anita), Robert Miller (Mae) and Jamie Miller (Connie); four grandchildren, Faron Miller, Madison Miller, Trevor Miller, and Ty Miller; two great grandchildren, Kasyn Miller and Bladen Gateley; and his brother, Terry Miller (Regina).

Funeral services for Glen will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 12 noon at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Ty Miller and Mike Hale. Burial will be in Cearley Cemetery in Hardeman County, TN.

Pallbearers to serve will be Travis Miller, Jamie Miller, Robert Miller, Trevor Miller, Ty Miller and Faron Miller. Raymond Hayes will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
