Carolyn Cole

Mrs. Carolyn Cole, age 63, of Jackson, TN, passed away on March 23, 2013 at Regional Hospital of Jackson.

Graveside services for Mrs. Cole will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 3 p.m. in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

She was born November 17, 1949 in Lexington, TN to the late Bud and Elizabeth Roberts Cole. She was a middle school teacher in Baton Rouge, LA for 25 years. She moved to Jackson about a year ago and made Jackson her home. She is a graduate of Bolivar High School. She is also a graduate Ole Miss. She was an avid animal lover and was involved in the Jackson Madison County Humane Society. She loved horseback riding and she loved to travel. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and she loved her entire family very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Cole.

She is survived by her son, Carey DeWitt Graber (Lauren) of Jackson, MS; two daughters, Leigh Graber Duke (Frank) of Raleigh, NC and Catherine Cole Taylor of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Austin Graber of Jackson, MS and Cora Beth Duke of Raleigh, NC; brother, Danny Cole (Molly) of Jackson, TN; sister-in-law, Beth Cole; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may gather at Ridgecrest Cemetery beginning at 2 p.m. for the graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Jackson Madison County Humane Society.
