Anna Dell Huckabee

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11th, from 11am-1pm. Funeral Service will follow visitation with Dr. Bill Sims officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers to serve are:

Jimmy Pierce, Jim Horne, Steve Chipman, Lee Haskins, Gary Dorris, and Joe Barton.

Honorary pallbearers are deacons of First Baptist Bemis.

Comforters Class was a very special part of her weekly activities. The Family asks that the ladies of Comforters please sit together. Mrs. Ann was a very loved and active member of First Baptist Church of Bemis.

Mrs. Ann was born on August 1, 1925, in Altus, Oklahoma to Delbert E. Peters & Pauline Russie Miller.

On June 3, 1950, she married Dorsie D. Huckabee where they made Jackson, Tn. their home.

After Mrs. Ann retired from International Paper in 1984 she was a carrier for The Jackson Sun.

Ms. Ann is preceded in death by her: parents, a sister, Laura Blount, brothers, Roy & David Peters, husband, Dorsie Huckabee Sr., daughter, Barbara Dailey, Son Dorsie Huckabee Jr. & grandson, Jeremy Lenard.

She is survived by her only living sibling: sister, Clara Ramsey

Daughters: Carla (Mike) Mcrae, & Annette (Jerry) Kennon.

Grandchildren: Kevin (Laura) Dailey, Brian (Lynn) Dailey, Lori (David) Waller, Amy Johnson.

Great grandchildren: Tyler & Kyle Dailey, Dale & Meagan Waller, Malea Johnson, Hayden & Abby Lenard.

Very Special lifetime friends: Bettye King, Juanita Hardee & Analee Brewer.
