Ann was born on September 10, 1948 in Madison County to the late Curry Andrew and Martha Jane Ivy. She was retired from Porter Cable (formerly, Rockwell) and Random House. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bemis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Scroggins; and brothers and sisters, Jean Ivy, Larry Ivy, Curry Ivy, and Janie Hampton.
She is survived by her children, Charles Smythe (Jackie) and Tony Smythe (Christie); stepsons, Keith Scroggins and Bradley Scroggins; grandchildren, Candice Smythe and Kelly Smythe; her great granddaughter, Reagann Smythe; her sister, Brenda Maroney Vandiver and her brother, James Ivy (Angela).
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the South chapel of George A. Smith and Sons
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial following in Highland Memorial Gardens.
