Toby was a barber for ten years and then went in the nursery business. He worked at Callaway Yard and Garden, Hinds Nursery and Lakeland Yard and Garden for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Upton and Eugenia Ray Rodgers; his previous wife, Rebecca "Becky" Rodgers. He is survived by his wife, Pamela "Pam" Rodgers; step-daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Russell Jones; his adopted brother, Wade Stephenson and four cousins.
