Mr. Robert "Bob" Sandifer

Bob graduated from Central High School, Jackson MS in 1948 and Mississippi College in 1952.

Bob had a long and successful career in computers/internet technology much of it at Malone and Hyde and retiring from Fleming Companies. He especially loved to bowl, golf and travel the world with his loving wife making friends wherever they went and lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn D. and Daisy Didlake Sandifer, Wilma Sandifer Campbell and brothers, Bill Sandifer and Julian Sandifer.

Succeeding him are his wife of 66 years, Marion Douglas Sandifer, daughter Bobette (Tommy) Thompson, Brentwood, TN, sons David (Leslie) Sandifer, Collierville, TN and Rob Sandifer, Hendersonville, TN, two grandsons, Blair Thompson, and Ethan (Deidre) Sandifer, sister Faye (Terry) De Vassie, sister in law Amylou Douglas (Bryan) Flournoy and brother in law Bud (Glenn) Douglas, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on August 4, 2018 at Germantown Baptist Church, Germantown TN. Visitation will begin at 1:00 with the service at 2:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the William T and Berteal Douglas Scholarship at Mississippi College, Clinton, MS.
