Ms. Peggy L Phillips

Peggy L. Phillips, 86, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in her home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Sunday, November 13 from 2:00 until 3:00 pm with a pavilion service to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Peggy was born in Wesson, MS and graduated from Central High School in 1955. She worked as a real estate agent with Mr. John Gussio and later worked as an auditor for Best Western Hotels. In her free time, Peggy enjoyed shopping and editing family photos.

Peggy is preceded in death by the father of her children, Paul Eugene “Buddy” Phillips; her parents, Henry and Edith Case Lloyd; and her life-long companion, Jack Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Patrice Johnson (Rudy) and Becky Dedmon (Steve); her grandchildren, Justin Edwards, Jacob Johnson, Debo Dedmon (Krista), Stephanie Torres (Pilo), Alyssa Wilhite (Levi), Zachary Johnson, and Amberlee Dedmon (Nick Malone); and great-grandchildren, Caden Edwards, Cash Dedmon, Piper Dedmon, Amelia Dedmon, Ava Dedmon, Neveah Torres, Harlynn Torres, Phoenix Torres, Dallas Torres, and Savannah Wilhite.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
