He was born in Jackson, MS, to Henry “Grady” Graham and Patricia Eager Graham on November 5, 1948. Patrick had fond memories of his childhood in Jackson and maintained lifelong friendships with many of his Murrah High School classmates.
He attended Mississippi State University, but his college days were cut short when his father passed away and Patrick returned home to become a part of the family car dealership. He and his wife, Gloria, moved to Boone, NC where they lived for twenty-five years and he continued in the car business.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Gloria Grubbs Graham, his son, Nathan Graham (Suzanne) of Brentwood, TN, and two grandsons, Gardener and William, his sister, Rebecca Graham Glaser of Boone, NC, his brother, Keith Graham (Rosemary) of Missoula, Montana, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Patrick had a unique ability to use language in a loving and funny way. He had a quirky and fun sense of humor that was endearing and entertaining. One of Patrick’s most praise worthy attributes was his intense love for people. He was kind to all and was forever a peacemaker.
Patrick’s faith was central to his life. He loved Jesus Christ and faithfully studied His word and sought to please Him. Patrick was active in his church, Alliance Bible Fellowship, in Boone. It is because of his relationship with Christ that we are assured of his presence with our Heavenly Father.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow. Interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.
