Sue Putnam, 89, passed away on November 17, 2015 after a long battle with dementia. Mrs. Putnam was born on July 3, 1926 in Booneville, MS. She was the daughter of Thomas J. Harp and Mattie Ainsworth Harp.
Along with her parents, Sue was preceded by her loving husband, Bobby “B.W.” Putnam of 51 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Jones (Rick) of Jefferson, GA; and son, Bobby Putnam, Jr. of Clinton, MS; three grandchildren, Bobby Bowen of Cumming, GA, Leslie Smith of Jefferson, GA, and Rachel Putnam of Jackson, MS; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, November 21st from 12-1 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 1 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
