J. J. Wilson

J. J. Wilson, age 70, of Madison died, Friday, March 23, 2012 in Jackson. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, 350 High Street, Jackson, MS. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and again Tuesday at 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM. The interment will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park.

Mr. Wilson was a lifelong resident of the Jackson area and a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Murrah High School, class of 1960, and a1964 graduate of Mississippi State University. Mr. Wilson served his country in the United States Army and retired from Aetna Life Insurance and Travels Insurance after thirty five years of service. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Jackson Bass Club for more than thirty years.

Preceded in death by his parents Burk Wilson and Jimmie Clark Wilson, he is survived by his wife, Vicki Cowsert Wilson of Madison; his son Jeff Wilson of Brandon; two daughters Lori Lynn Kincses of Jackson and Jennifer Richards of Madison. Pallbearers will be Kenny Churchill. Rick Denson, Larry Lowery, Charlie Moore, Mike Overall and Myron Watson. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of The Jackson Bass Club.
