Helen Bowlin

She will be missed by her children, William E. Bowlin, Jr. (Donna), Renee Bowlin Thrasher (Shelby) and Glenn Bowlin; grandchildren, Jessica Wynne (Ryan), Natasha Johns (Jeff), Bobby Bowlin (Tracy), Frances Childress (J Paul) and Emily Bowlin and Josh McQueen; five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Bowlin (Vickie).

Helen loved children and kept children in her home for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors and fastidiously manicuring her lawn and tending her beautiful flowers and greenery. She was an exceptional cook and loved preparing meals for her family members and any number of people who might drop by for dinner. She could prepare restaurant quality steaks, fried fish and other fine dishes, but her specialty was turkey and dressing. Anyone who tasted her dressing considered it to be the best that they had ever tasted. Helen was also an excellent seamstress. Helen loved helping people in need and all who met her loved her vivacious personality. She loved life and knew at her passing that she would be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life.
