Of Jackson, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family after a brave battle with Lymphoma Sunday, October 27, 2013. She was born January 6, 1935 in Manitowoc, WI. The daughter of Stephen and Dorothy Kakuk and was one of fifteen children. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dale R. Brower; her five children, Valerie (Joseph) Kuzma, Julia (Terry) Wolf, Lisa (Steve) Mudge, Mary (Dennis) Hull and Tom (Trina) Brower; eight Grandchildren; five Step Grandchildren; one Great Grandchild; seven Step Great Grandchildren; two Step Great-Great Grandchildren; and her beloved Grand doggies. Lois was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at St. John’s Evangelist Church at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive family and friends at Chas. J. Burden & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or Humane Society.
