Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2017 at the age of 64. She was born on December 11, 1952 to Wendell and Tricella Huggett in Jackson, MI. Laurie was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She was an avid collector of angels, salt and pepper shakers, playing scrabble, and puzzles. Laurie is survived by her children, Ralph E. Shadley, Jodie (John) Richards, Colin Huggett, and Catherine Huggett; grandchildren, Breanna, Brennon, Ashley, Dariyn, Maurice, Ci Onna, and one great grandchild, Kenzleigh; siblings, Michael (Shirley) Huggett, Kip Huggett, Brian Huggett, and Lance (Wendy Lea) Huggett. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Sheryl; and nephew, Lukas. A celebration of Laurie’s life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (301 Detroit St. Jackson, MI). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for final expenses.
