Kenneth Ray Burchett

Kenneth Ray Burchett, age 67, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on December 19, 2020 from complications of Covid-19. Ken was born May 23, 1953 in Stockbridge, Michigan. He graduated in 1971 from East Jackson High School. He attended Ohio State University. He was a manager at Miller Industrial Products for 25+ years.

Ken is survived by his daughter Melissa, son Andrew and daughter-in-law Tirzah, three granddaughters, Andrea, Naomi and Josephine, and two step grandsons Ean and Zak Forbes; four sisters, Wanda (Dave), Sandra Harmon, Lisa (Brian) Cooper and Lora (Kevin) Merrill; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 28 years, Carol, and his parents Rev. Sol, Jr. and Mary Burchett.

In his teens, he liked working on muscle cars including his own Dodge Duster and Superbee. He liked going to auctions and was an avid collector of sports trading cards. He was enjoying retirement, but his favorite activity was spending time with and spoiling the loves of his life, his three granddaughters. He was looking forward to seeing them over the Christmas holidays.

Per his wishes, Ken has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a future date in the Spring or Summer.
