Of Jackson, passed away on January 18, 2013 at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Anna Stovall. He is survived by his siblings; Anna, Howard, Sally, Ingrid and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a quiet man with a generous heart. John Served in the Army after receiving a degree from Michigan State. According to his wishes cremation has been selected and a service honoring his life will be held at Gene Davis Catering Hall (3575 Francis St.)on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
