Of Jackson, passed away at her home at the age of 67 with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan to Alex and Gracie McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Julin Samons; son, J.R. Samons; sister, Peggy Ann Samons and brother, Ernest McDaniel, Dolly will be remembered by her children, Timothy (Jessie) Samons, David (Amy) Samons and Tina Samons; nine grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; siblings, Eliot (Shirley) McDaniel, Helen “Chris” McDaniel, Shelvie Gerry, Charles Samons and Eddie Samons as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Dolly spent her career as a Nurse and assisting others in Home Health Care. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and best friend. She touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. Dolly will be laid to rest with her Life Partner, Ricky Gerry, Sr. at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 1:00 P.M.
