Of Jackson, formerly of Parma, Michigan passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 under the kind and compassionate care of Henry Ford Hospice and his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Winklepleck; son Gary Winklepleck and special friend, Patricia Link. He will be remembered by his children, Nancy Whitmore, Deborah (Jeff) Klontz, Bruce (Pat) Winklepleck, Cindy (Rob) Giffin, Paul (Kathy) Winklepleck and Kimberly (Joe) Meyers; 19 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Charles was born in Jackson on September 28, 1934 and attended Woodville School in Western School District. He proudly served in the Michigan Army National Guard. He enjoyed raising his buffalo herd. He was always willing to help others when he was able to. He touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. He had a strong Faith in the Lord and was a member of the Horton Congregational Church (7724 Moscow Road Horton, 49246) where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Church.
