Sean Patrick Dodson

Sean Patrick Dodson, 39, a resident of Gainestown, AL, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. Mr. Dodson was born on September 17, 1976 in Oklahoma. He served in the US Army where he was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and received two Bronze Stars. Mr. Dodson also served as an ROTC Instructor at the University of North Alabama. In addition to his love of his country, Mr. Dodson enjoyed motorcycles, grilling and Alabama Football. Mr. Dodson is survived by his wife, Raven Dodson of Gainestown, AL; children, Monique Dodson of Tulsa, OK, Cameron Ludgood of Gainestown, AL, Jada Hunt of Gainestown, AL, D’Marcio Dodson of Gainestown, AL and Demetris Dodson of Gainestown, AL; Parents, Stanley Dodson, Jr. of West Yellowstone, MT and Ann Briggs of Tulsa, OK; siblings, Steven Worthington, Michelle Maggard, Stanley Earl Dodson, III, Diana Dodson and Ryan-Michele Eagleton. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Lathan Funeral Home.
