IRMO – Raymond Richard Ricker, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Born April 1, 1942 in Newmarket, NH, he was a son of Florence Ricker. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; sons, Rick and his wife Nancy from Peachtree City, Ga. and Randy and his partner Laryssa Rod from Somerville, MA; daughter, Renee Dillon and her husband Bill Dillon from Chapin, S.C.; granddaughters, Jayne Gail Wilson, Emily Ricker, Olivia Ricker and Kate Dillon; brother, Peter Ricker of Palm Springs, CA; and sister, Carlene Roberge and brother-in-law Ray Roberge of Holmes Beach, Fla. He was predeceased by brother, Johnny Ricker of Dover, NH and sister, Leah Hollis of North Berwick, ME. First Sergeant Raymond Ricker served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. He was stationed in Europe, South Korea, Okinawa and several stateside assignments. His last 10 years were spent at Fort Jackson, S.C., where he retired. Rick was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends. He was an avid card player and dedicated fan of "The Price is Right." A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
