Norma Jean Newell

She was preceded in death by her parents in 1996/1997, by her husband of 42 years Gerald A Newell in 1991, and daughter Jill Jeanette in 2014. She has left behind to face the future, her daughter Jeri Jean Newell Palmer (Cary), and granddaughter, Mischa Marissa Crain (Timothy) of Ocala, Florida.

She led a very active life working for Ohio Bell, Sears, Ohio Department of Health and St. Charles Hospital from which she retired after 31 years. She was active in Oak Shade Retirees, St. John Lutheran Church Choir, Plan B Widow's Club, Bay Chapter Book Club and St. John's Quilters and WTOL Call For Action. Norma was also a past member of Toledo Swiss Singers and a Valentine volunteer. She had a great fondness for her friends and deep love of her family. She will always be only a heartbeat away from those she loved.

A graveside service in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge Ohio will be on September 9th, 2023.
