Karen Knapp Kellogg, 82, previously of Canandaigua, NY, passed away Sunday, September 29, at Westminster Memory Care in Lexington, SC with family and friends at her side. Born January 5, 1942, in Bath, NY, Karen was the daughter of Kenneth Lewis Knapp and Eleanor Rice Knapp. Karen graduated from Eastman School of Dentistry and taught dental health in the Canandaigua Public School System for 32 years. Karen was passionate about health and fitness, evangelizing preventative nutrition long before it was popular. She loved reading, yoga and aerobics and walked several miles a day well into her 70’s. Most of all, Karen was a loyal and compassionate family member and friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, William Edward Kellogg.
Karen is survived by son, Kristian Kellogg, and his wife Carolyn, of Fort Mill, SC; daughter Karolyn McKnight and her husband Sean, of Columbia, SC; grandchildren Kaelyn and Will Kellogg and Kelsey and Kyler McKnight and many more adoring family members and friends.

It was her hope that other families will benefit from this important work.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, November 23, at The Green Front Restaurant in Canandaigua.
