COLUMBIA - A memorial service for James Edward “Eddie” Wright Jr., 66, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, with visitation following the service.
Mr. Wright passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born October 25, 1955 in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James Edward Wright Sr. and Melba “Jean” Wright. He was predeceased by his father.
He spent the majority of his career working in the family business, Seven Oaks Auto Repair. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and loved music, but his favorite joy was spending time with friends and family.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Jean Wright; his two children, Kyle Wright (Jennifer), Jamie Segroves; his siblings, Joyce Hancock, Randy Wright (Linda), Melisa Wright; and his beloved granddaughter, Savannah Segroves.
