What a great leader he supported my growth 100% as a  superintendent. 

Gene was a hard working man who cared for his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and anyone who crossed his path. 

Gene was a great man. We moved in next to him 2 years ago and he came over right away to give us peppers from his garden. He would help us out with our house even though he was a busy man. He was caring, compassionate, and will be missed by all.

Gene was a kind man and a good friend. I will remember him fondly.

I was lucky to have moved from Philadelphia to Irmo 2 years ago and have Gene for my next door neighbor. My first memory was him coming over to introduce himself with a bag full of vegetables he had grown from his garden. They were the best 🍅  I ever had. That day, was the start of many memories of Gene, that I hold dear to my heart. I will forever miss, seeing you walk in the yard, and seeing your Red Truck in the driveway. A piece of me went with you, the day we lost you. But you are at peace and with your loved ones once again. I will always be grateful for having met you, even though it was only a short while. And will carry a part of you in my heart ❤️ forever. 

Gene was a neat soul.   All you had to do is listen to him talk.  The funny things that he would say.  I just smile and go on walking my dogs.  Then  you hear get him and my one neighbor your head might be spinning.  The fun memories we have with Gene.  He loved his daughter and those awesome grandkids and great grandkids.  We were lucky to have him.  But gone too soon.    He will be in heaven watching over his grandchildren.  

I met Gene in high school and we dated for awhile.  He was fun and always a gentleman.  My condolences to his family.  May the Lord provide you comfort and peace!🙏

Gene was a classmate of mine and I had not seen him since graduation until our 45th  high school class reunion.  He’s always been   a fun person and a delight to be around.   My prayers are with the family.   We know we will see him again based on his faith!  Sending hugs, 

I am not sure what to write to properly convey my feelings for the one and only Gene Clark.  Respect, Envy, Admiration, Frustration - it's all applicable.  Say what you will - you always got it straight from Gene for (mostly) better or worse. He loved he his family and did not suffer fools.  I am a better person having known him and I will miss him dearly. 

I will be out of the country next week and unable to personally convey my deep condolences to the family.  Rest assured he will be missed.
