IRMO - A funeral service for George Allen Seals, 80, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Mr. Seals passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. Born in Fayetteville, N.C., he was the son of the late William Allen and Martha Ray Seals. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, attaining the rank of Captain. He graduated from the University of S.C. with a B.S. degree in Biology and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College as a Registered Nurse. He retired from the S.C. Department of Mental Health as an R.N. His hobbies included photography, reading and music.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Constance Goldman Seals; son, Sterling Allen Seals (Rebecca); daughter, Dana Reynolds; grandchildren, Avery Seals, Wyatt Seals, Lacey Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds.
