A graveside service for Elizabeth Marie London-Ferring, 61, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2023 in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Sumter, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.
Elizabeth passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. Born on December 4, 1961 in Lubbock, Texas, she was a daughter of William London and Geraldine (Hodge) London. Living in Irmo for over 25 years, Elizabeth worked for 9 years at Lowes and 19 years at Sears. She always had a love for art in general, but loved quilting blankets and cross stitch for family and friends. She enjoyed watching football, especially the Gamecocks - who she affectionately called “The Chickens”. Elizabeth had two dogs, Penny Lane and Suzie, and also enjoyed volunteering at pet rescues. Always up for a good laugh and making others laugh, she also loved to boogie. She enjoyed watching supernatural dramas, westerns, and Fast and the Furious series. Loving, caring and devoted to her family, she was one of the hardest working women you will ever meet.
Surviving are her siblings, Teresa London, David London, James London (Cherry); her children, Joshua Ferring (Brittany), Christopher Ferring (Jennifer), Christina Hostetter (Jacob); and her partner, Kent Lewis.
Memorials may be made to Pets Inc, 300 Orchard Dr, West Columbia, SC 29170, or Melanoma Research Alliance at give.curemelanoma.org

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[a] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14
