He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Clara Williams, his son Donald E Williams, Jr. and his daughter Kelly Williams.
Don is survived by his loving wife Sandy Williams of 49 years.
Don is lovingly remembered by his daughters Becky Coley of Baconton, GA (Danny), Carolyn Wesolowski of Pawleys Island, SC (Matt), Tammy Welch of Baconton, GA, and son Bobby Williams of Houston, TX (Angela). His brothers Bobby Williams of Macon, GA and Richard Williams of Albany, GA and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Don was born in LaGrange, GA June 9, 1946. He was a Master Welder and established his own company, Don Williams, Inc., which provided industrial welding and contracting services. After he sold his business, he was contracted by Martin Marietta until he retired in 2021.
Don enjoyed drag racing, riding his Harley Davidson and playing pool with his friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
