Deborah Dickinson

Born on February 3rd, 1953, in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of late Cleveland M. Simmons, Jr and Ethel R. Simmons.

Deb was a graduate of Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, VA, and attended college at East Tennessee State University. She enjoyed a long and distinguished career working for Central Fidelity bank and later Wachovia bank. She was a fun and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her many friends, as well as, travelling with her husband and family to the Outer Banks and Destin, FL.

Deb was predeceased by her husbands, Andrew Dickinson and Thomas Wright. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn S. Oakey (Dale) and her nephew, Jason Oakey (Lisa) all of Chapin, SC; her stepsons, Brent Wright (Celia) of Garner, NC; Eric Wright (Nancy) of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Sarah Miller (Nick) of Raleigh, NC; Holly Wright (Mike Veal) of Angier, NC; Noah Wright (Heather) of Pike Road, AL; Emma Parker (Tyler) of Wendell, NC; Elizabeth Wright of Raleigh, NC; and 10 great grandchildren.

The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Oakleaf Village of Lexington Memory Care and All Seasons Hospice for their care of Deb.

To honor Deb's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Her family invites you to privately celebrate Deb's memory in your own way.
